I do agree with the statement that migrant workers have made a great contribution to the prosperity of cities. In Beijing, for example, many migrant workers are working on the construction sites. These people are really hard working. Without these people the cities could not develop so quickly. In addition to the construction work they take, they also help to improve the community services, such as cleaning, repairing work and household work. They help make the city clean and nice, and they also help many families with tedious work.
Certainly, migrant workers have also brought some problems to the cities. For example, the public transport becomes a little crowded, and from time to time, we heard that some dishonest migrants stole things.
I believe that if migrant workers are given certain kind of education, they can improve themselves and will be an important treasure to the cities.
